Creating,
Positive, Environments alongside
Deaf Communities.
Services
Three core service areas designed to create meaningful lasting changes.
Social care assessments
Assessments conducted in BSL to ensure deaf individuals receive fair accurate and culturally sensitive evaluations by a qualified deaf experienced social worker using the person preferred communication approach in either British sign language (BSL) , sign supported English (SSE) or spoken English. without relying on interpreters taking account language and cultural factors that can significantly affect outcomes .
Why BSL led Assessment matter?
When assessment are done through interpreters crucial nuances can be lost .By working directly in BSL I ensure that the deaf person voice is heard clearly and accurately leading to better outcomes.
